GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — This week’s featured adoptable pets from the Kent County Animal Shelter are two lovable dogs.
Mia is a 10-year-old labrador retriever that is still full of energy. The shelter said she is looking for a forever home where she can play, get out all of her zoomies and relax on the couch.
Jesse is a 3-year-old American Staffordshire terrier that is patiently waiting for his forever home. He has had a few overnight stays with volunteers. The shelter said that the volunteer reports that he is the perfect dinner guest on the patio, enjoys walks along the water and loves to snuggle.
"Seeing his full potential outside of the shelter and him getting some time away to decompress from shelter life, has been awesome. He is a certified good boy!" the shelter said.
For more information on adopting any pet from KCAS, visit the organization’s website or call 616.632.7300.
Through Oct. 15, all dog adoptions at the Kent County Animal Shelter are $50, including the license.
