GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — This week’s featured adoptable pets from the Kent County Animal Shelter are two lovable dogs.
Snoop is a 4-year-old American Staffordshire terrier that came to the shelter as a stray. The shelter was not able to find his owners, and he is now up for adoption. This smart boy loves to ride in the car and can do a few tricks like speaking, shaking and lying down.
Consuelo is a 4-year-old American Staffordshire terrier that has been waiting a while to find her forever home. She is up-to-date on basic vaccinations and has been spayed.
She recently spent the night at a volunteer's house who said that "she is a marshmallow."
"...She likes to give human hugs where she wraps her front arms around your shoulders. She is a classic dog: she likes to monitor the perimeter of the castle, play fetch, play tug-of-war, lay in the sun, get a belly rubs," the volunteer told the shelter.
For more information on adopting any pet from KCAS, visit the organization’s website or call 616.632.7300.
Through Oct. 15, all dog adoptions at the Kent County Animal Shelter are $50, including the license.
