GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — This week’s featured adoptable dogs from the Kent County Animal Shelter are two dogs waiting for their fur-ever homes.
Nana is a 2-year-old hound mix that loves to go for long walks through the park. Once she has a good walk, she enjoys lounging around. The shelter said that she's a sweet, sensitive and goofy girl that is a joy to be around.
Quiver is a 4-year-old American Staffordshire terrier and Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler mix. The shelter said that this handsome boy knows how adorable he is and will flaunt it.
"He's a nice, 4-year-old active boy who has done nothing but be a perfect gentleman while he has been at the shelter (for about two months)," the shelter said in an email to News 8.
He loves to play fetch and knows basic commands like sit, shake and lay down.

The shelter said it is closed on Friday for technology updates. It will be open on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
