GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — This week’s featured adoptable pets from the Kent County Animal Shelter are two snuggly dogs.
Ziggy is a 14-year-old Schnauzer and Poodle mix that is very social and loves to snuggle. This low-key dog enjoys car rides and being held.
"We recently did a nice dental on him, so his teeth are clean, and he had some that were removed. (So,) he's prepped and ready to go," Angela Hollinshead, director of the Kent County Animal Shelter, said.
Tater is a 1-year-old happy-go-lucky gentleman. He loves playing with rope toys and playing with his dog friends. He has also learned manners like how to sit, lie down and paw.
The shelter said that he would do well with an active family that loves to snuggle at the end of the day.
"What we're really trying to say is that he is a well-rounded pup and is more than ready... to get out of the shelter," the shelter said in an email to News 8.
