GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — This week's featured adoptable pets from the Kent County Animal Shelter are two playful dogs and a peaceful cat.
Up first is Croissant. At 2 years old old, she's sweet and energetic. She doesn't bark much, does well in the car and is food-motivated. In the News 8 studio Friday, she was very curious about the moving cameras.
The shelter says she would do best in a house that has a lot of action or with someone who's looking for a running buddy.

You could also pick Ford. The shelter says he’s about 7 years old, potty-trained and knows basic commands. He weighs about 70 pounds and enjoys both a good workout and a long nap on the couch.
“He still has that puppy playfulness in him and will be a real motivator when it comes to exercising," the shelter says. "Ford loves his walks."

Up next is a fluffy long-haired cat named Sarah. The shelter says she is 5 years old and is very social yet peaceful. She loves a good chin scratch and rubbing her head against people’s legs.

If either of these pets sound like they'd be a great addition to your family, you can come visit them at KCAS today! For more information on adopting any pet from KCAS, visit the organization's website or call 616.632.7300.
