First up is Willow. She’s a 2-year-old Boxer mix who came to the shelter as a stray. KCAS workers say Willow will make a great addition to any family; with her goofy, inquisitive nature, she’s a pure joy to be around.

Next is Dixi. She’s a 3-year-old Jack Russell terrier. KCAS says Dixi’s original owner couldn’t keep her any longer so they gave her up to the shelter. The upside is KCAS has Dixi’s full history.
Dixi is a sweet, happy, high-energy dog whose tail is constantly in motion.
“She’s just a short little foot stool looking for a home,” said Kent County Animal Control Officer Jessica Kooistra.
Both dogs are or will be spayed and will have all their necessary vaccinations when adopted.
