GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Large and small, this week’s pets of the week are the right fit for any dog lover’s life.

First, meet Rambo. He’s a 4-year-old Labrador retriever, Staffordshire terrier mix who came to the Kent County Animal Shelter because his owner could no longer care for him. Rambo is a sweet dog looking for a family to play and snuggle with.
Ramo is being treated for heartworms but will need follow-up care once he’s adopted. He is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on all his vaccinations.

Next is Star. This well-mannered Chihahua came into the KCAS as a stray. Shelter workers etimate she’s.is about 8 years old to 9 years old. She’s spayed and recently got her teeth cleaned, as well as all the necessary vaccinations.
