GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Meet Brooke and Mandy, this week’s featured pets of the week from the Kent County Animal Shelter.
First, meet Brooke, a 1-and-a-half-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix. Brooke is a fan of snuggling and for her breed, she is on the very small side.

When Brooke first came to the Kent County Animal Shelter, she was very shy. However, she has since become confident after receiving some love and attention from shelter staff.
Next meet Mandy, a 6-month-old black Labrador retriever mix who is spayed.
Mandy came to the shelter after her owners were unable to care for her. She is very social, loves playing with toys and going for rides in the car.
