GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) – Meet Gus Gus and Cupid, this week’s adoptable pets of the week from the Kent County Animal Shelter.
First, meet Gus Gus, a 5-month-old American Staffordshire terrier puppy. While he is described as “extremely sweet,” he’s a bit timid and needs a loving home to make him comfortable. Gus Gus is also going to need someone who can train him on the basics like walking on a leash.

Next, meet Cupid, a 2-year-old male Beagle. He came to KCAS as a stray, so not much is known about his past. What is known is that Cupid isn’t a typical chatty beagle – he’s very mild-mannered and is quite quiet. He’s very sweet and social – could he be the right fit for your family?
To adopt Gus Gus, Cupid or any other pet at the Kent County Animal Shelter, call 616.632.7300 or visit the organization’s website.
