GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) – Celebrate the start of spring this weekend with a new furry rescue from the Kent County Animal Shelter.

First up is Oscar, a 2-year-old Staffordshire terrier mix. KCAS workers say Oscar is a super sweet boy who loves to sit with people and cuddle. His ideal owner is looking for a four-legged companion to take on walks and teach tricks.

Next is Candy, who is about 4 years old. Candy is a mastiff mix who is very mellow, social and smart. She loves going on walks, cuddling and playing with toys, but she’d probably fair best in a home without young children.
