GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — This week's featured adoptable dogs from the Kent County Animal Shelter are a senior dog and a younger who both love people.
Duke is a 9-year-old American Staffordshire terrier described by shelter staff as a "gentleman looking for his forever home."
"This spirited senior absolutely adores his human companions," the shelter said.
While Duke loves people, he belongs in a home with no other pets. He has good manners and is house trained.

He is being cared for by a foster family, so if you're interested in meeting him, call the shelter to set up an appointment.
Milo is a 4-year-old American Staffordshire terrier. He has a "heart as big as his head," the shelter says, and has "won over everyone at the shelter with (his) sweet personality."
He loves squeaky toys, playing and snacks. The shelter says he's food-motivated, so he does well with training — he already knows some basic commands like "sit." He's still working on walking well on a leash.

Both dogs are neutered, up to date on their vaccines and microchipped.
