GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — This week's featured adoptable pets from the Kent County Animal Shelter are two happy and social dogs.
Esther is a 5-year-old boxer. Shelter staff said she's smart, social, sweet and active.
"Even though she's 5, she still has a lot of play," shelter Director Angela Hollinshead said.
She has lived with other dogs and is happy to ride in the car. In the News 8 studio Friday, she showed that she knows how to sit.
Spotarella is a 1-year-old American Staffordshire terrier mix. The shelter says she is around 35 pounds with cute ears, ultra-soft fur and the happiest little smile. She loves interacting with humans and gets along with other dogs. The shelter notes she needs some basic training but shows motivation to learn.
