GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — This week’s featured adoptable pets from the Kent County Animal Shelter are two lovable dogs that are waiting for their forever homes.
Lori is a 2-year-old Labrador mix. The shelter says she loves lounging around with shelter staff and volunteers. She is well-behaved while still chasing balls and playing with toys.
Avocado is a 4-year-old Husky mix. He has attention-grabbing blue eyes and would love to be your forever Valentine. The shelter says he is a fun energetic dog who will enjoy an active lifestyle.
The shelter is running a Valentine's Day special through Saturday when all dogs are just $17, including spay/neuter surgery, microchip, basic vaccines, heartworm test, flea and tick preventative and a smart QR code dog license.
