GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — This week’s featured adoptable dogs from the Kent County Animal Shelter are two adorable dogs.
Mini is a 7-month-old boxer that arrived at the shelter very dirty, underweight and in need of some serious TLC, the shelter said. She has been in a foster home for the last few weeks and has been gaining weight.
The foster family told the shelter that she is "the perfect mix of play and chill." She loves to play chase with other dogs, tug-of-war and snuggle. She has mastered crate training and is doing well with house training.
Vesper is an almost 2-year-old American Staffordshire terrier mix that has been at the shelter for four months. The shelter said he goes on regular field trips and enjoys being out and about.
The shelter's staff thinks that he would make a great running buddy. He also loves to play fetch.
