GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — This week’s featured adoptable pets from the Kent County Animal Shelter are a handsome, active dog and a terrier who likes to cuddle.
Quiver is a 4-year-old who knows how handsome he is. He's an active dog who is a "perfect gentleman," the shelter said. He's smart and knows basic commands like sit, shake and lay down.
Quiver has been at the shelter for three months and is ready for his new family.

Also ready for a new family is Chilidog, a 5-year-old small terrier. She's food motivated, loves riding in the car and is very sweet. She's introverted, but does well with other dogs.
"She's not a party animal," Angela Hollinshead with the Kent County Animal Shelter said. "(It) takes her a few minutes to warm up to people, but once you have her trust she is the sweetest, most cuddly dog."
She came into the shelter as a stray and has since been spayed and is up-to-date on her vaccinations.

She would need a family who could take her to get groomed regularly.
