GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — This week's featured adoptable pets from the Kent County Animal Shelter are a sweet cat and dog.

Trippy is an about 3-year-old female cat who came to the shelter at the beginning of the month as a stray. The shelter says she is very mellow and gets along well with the other cats at the shelter. She likes to lounge around in the shelter's cattery.

She has been fixed and vaccinated.

You could also choose Angie, a 4-year-old American Staffordshire terrier. She has been with the animal shelter for more than four months to be treated for a medical problem. Volunteers taking her on trips found that she likes to ride in the car and enjoys walks. She loves to give kisses to and snuggle with her caretakers.
