GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Meet this week’s pets of the week from the Kent County Animal Shelter: Nina Rose and Emily.
First, meet Nina Rose, a 4-year-old American Staffordshire terrier mix. Nina Rose has a lot of energy and has great manners. She does very well with other dogs once she has been introduced to them.

Next, meet Emily. Emily came to the Kent County Animal Shelter with a fractured leg and unfortunately, she had to have it amputated because it wouldn’t heal. But she has bounced back fast and gets around just fine on three legs.
