GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Two spunky cats looking for a place to call home are this week’s Pets of the Week.

First up is Emerald. She’s a 1-year-old dilute tortoise shell cat with a lot of personality. She’s an affectionate feline who loves being petted.
Next up is Gypsy. She’s a 4-year-old domestic short hair cat. Workers at the Kent County Animal Shelter call her the “greeter of the Habicat” because she’s always waiting at the door, ready to welcome visitors. This adventurous black cat would love a new home to explore.

For more information about Emerald, Gypsy or other pets up for adoption, contact the Kent County Animal Shelter at Kent County Animal Shelter website.
The Kent County Animal Shelter is expecting a rush of potential pet owners Saturday for its free adoption event. The BISSELL Pet Foundation is covering adoption fees during KCAS’ Empty the Shelter event for all people who pre-registered for the event.
