GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — This week’s featured adoptable pets from the Kent County Animal Shelter are two lovable dogs that have been waiting a while to find their forever homes.
Misha is a 6-year-old American Staffordshire terrier that has been at the shelter for two years. The shelter said that she stays in the office space, which is less stressful than the kennels.
She enjoys going out with volunteers at the shelter and riding in the car. This playful girl loves to keep her bed area clean with the exception of the toys she likes to keep nearby. She is potty trained and would do best and the only animal in the home. While she waits for her forever home, the shelter is also looking for a foster family to take her in.
West is a 4-year-old American Staffordshire terrier that is currently living with a foster family. This chill dog has been at the shelter for over a year. The shelter said that he is a social charmer and loves to meet new people.
He is well housetrained and doesn't get overly excited by lots of noise and activity.
Through the end of 2024, all dog adoptions are $50. This includes spay/neuter surgery, core vaccines including rabies, microchip heartworm test and a smart QR dog license.
