GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — This week’s featured adoptable dogs from the Kent County Animal Shelter are two dogs looking for their fur-ever homes.
Cubby is a 2-year-old Pomeranian that is newly available for adoption. This lovable dog has beautiful blue eyes and does well in the car. He is overall a mellow dog but gets the occasional burst of energy. Shelter staff encourages anyone interested to remember that he does have grooming requirements.
Marmalade is a 4-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier that is a "turn-key pup," according to the shelter. She keeps her kennel clean, walks well on the leash, knows basic commands and does well meeting other dogs. Shelter staff says she loves every person she lets and never says no to a treat.
She's been at the shelter for about three months and is more than ready to meet her new family.
