GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD)— If you’re looking for a holiday deal on your next best friend, now is the time to visit the Kent County Animal Shelter.
Now through the end of the year, KCAS is teaming up with the Bissell Pet Foundation to waive adoption fees on all animals at the shelter. New dog owners must still pay $12 for a dog license.
This is the second year for the Home for the Holidays program. Last year, the initiative helped the shelter find homes for a record 1,028 pets.
The Kent County Animal Shelter is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
